Is Small World BIG FUN A Good Fit For You?
Great travel agents come from
all kinds of backgrounds
You don’t need years of experience in the travel industry to be a great fit here. Many of our agents come to us ready to begin their careers in travel, while others already have experience in the industry. Some of the skills that make someone successful in this business can also come from sales, customer service, marketing, organization, community involvement, and simply knowing how to connect with people.
What matters most is being ready to learn and grow, being willing to put in the work, and being genuinely excited about helping others experience the world.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED (college degree a plus)
- Tech-Savvy – Comfortable using email, the internet, booking engines, and basic tools like Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Excellent Communication Skills – Strong grammar and spelling skills with the ability to communicate clearly through email, phone, and Zoom.
- Active Traveler – Has personally planned and traveled within the last 12 months.
- Social Media Experience – Active on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media channels for marketing and relationship building.
- Customer Service Orientation – Friendly, responsive, and professional demeanor.
- Availability – Not currently employed full-time in a position that would conflict with building your travel business.
